Barrier Brewing Unwinder Beer: the newest way to relax from Bohlsen Restaurant Group

ISLIP, NY  – July 20, 2021 – If there’s one thing that Long Island summers were meant for, it was Unwinding.

This month, BRG kicks off H20 Smithtown’s 20 th Anniversary by partnering with Barrier Brewing Company for a new summer IPA; Unwinder.

A nod to the nostalgic Long Island summer lifestyle we all know and love, Unwinder is a light summer IPA. The ocean themed label represents H20’s commitment to our local waterways and visually references a Fall partnership with the LI Aquarium and the Surfrider Association.

Unwinder is loaded with all the tropical flavor you could ask for in an IPA. At 5.8% it’s a perfectly drinkable summer beer. Dry hopped with Mimcoe, Mosaic and Centennial, Unwinder is bursting with hints of grapefruit, melon, and lemon!

H20 Smithtown is BRG’s signature seafood restaurant. Now helmed with a new Chef and GM team, the restaurant has been undergoing a resurgence with new weekly cocktails and inspired weekly wine dinners. The restaurant is currently being certified as an ocean friendly restaurant with Surfrider Foundation, the national organization dedicated to the protection of our ocean, waves and beaches. To celebrate the historic Anniversary, H20 will host a family themed event on Sunday, September 19 th to benefit the LI Aquarium.

Unwinder beer will be available at all BRG restaurants this summer as well and sells for $10 per can.
