Stone Farking Wheaton w00tstout Returning For 2021

Stone Farking Wheaton w00tstout Returning For 2021This morning I have your very first peek at a returning favorite collaboration coming from Stone Brewing in Escondido, CA and Richmond, VA. This is 2021 Farking Wheaton w00tstout and it will remain a collaboration with FARK’s Drew Curtis, Wil Wheaton and Greg Koch. The beer is an imperial stout brewed with pecans, wheat and rye with one quarter aged in Bourbon barrels and it will rock in at 11.5%-AbV. This is the 12oz bottle (kegs below) with artwork by Tom Raney and it depicts a “superpowered, mecha-gargoyle ready to spring into action to protect the sublime sanctity of craft beer.” Stay tuned here for more packaging and release details.Stone Farking Wheaton w00tstout Returning For 2021

This 24 June 2021 update from Stone:

With the intensity of an enormous mecha-Gargoyle, Stone Farking Wheaton w00tstout is back! Well, almost. You'll get your first chance at this year's edition next week. It'll be available at our online store and Stone locations before heading out to select states across the US.

While an 11.5% stout partially aged in bourbon barrels certainly stands out on its own, the unique artwork on each release is equally epic. This year's art comes from the talented hands of Tom Raney, who has a history drawing comics at Marvel and DC, from X-Men to Batman.
