Lakewood Releasing Double Chocolate Temptress

Lakewood Releasing Double Chocolate Temptress

From Lakewood:

Starting Friday 4-23 we are releasing Double Chocolate Temptress before it's available in stores and craft pubs next week.

“We really embraced the dark side of chocolate this year,” said Wim Bens, Founder and President of Lakewood Brewing. Bens explained that this year’s Double Chocolate Temptress is bigger and bolder in dark chocolate flavor. Lakewood again worked with local chocolatier Yeli Marshall from Yelibelly Chocolates and added copious amount of single origin cocoa nibs as well a healthy dose of dark cocoa to make a dark chocolate lover’s dream. Double Chocolate Temptress is full of dark chocolate flavor, with aromas of rich cacao, smoke and vanilla. It’s the perfect pairing for s’mores or with fresh berries.
Bens went on to say that this year’s version is even better than last year’s. “Since we use all-natural ingredients as much as possible, last year’s Double Chocolate, while tasting amazing, had some of the chocolate oils separate in the bottle. It’s always a challenge when you’re working with real ingredients. We knew we could do better, and we did.”

Double (dark?) Chocolate Temptress will be available in 4-packs and on draft in the Lakewood Brewing Taproom starting April 23rd with statewide distribution the following week.
