I’m always excited to receive a care package at mybeerbuzz headquarters, but today I’m even more excited to turn you on to a great way to buy your beer.

I’ve spent the last 12-months having everything shipped to my door because of Covid, but I’ll admit that after receiving this box, I think this is how I will get my beer moving forward, with or without Covid.

I’m talking about Half Time Beverage and their recent move to bring premier craft beer and ciders directly to your door. If you’re not familiar, Half Time Beverage has an on-line store featuring over 4,000 craft beers and ciders from over 800 breweries across more than 50 countries. Half Time Beverage is located in the Hudson Valley of New York and this location puts them at the heart of the craft beer scene, and at a great starting point to easily get their selections to your front door quickly.

Half Time Beverage has been a brick-and-mortar in six states for almost two decades, but in February, they announced that they would be taking their offerings nationwide, and this my friends is very good news for you and for me. Their on-line storefront (www.HalfTimeBeverage.com) is the largest retailer of craft beer in the United States, and at any given point, there are over 1,000 different craft beers available at the touch of a button. If the name sounds familiar, Half Time Beverage has also been helping to keep virtual beer festivals afloat during the pandemic over the last year (The Smithsonian Museum, Untappd, Hop Culture, Beer Advocate and others). If that’s not enough, Half Time Beverage also actively supports charitable causes including hospital support and Covid-19 relief, and has given thousands of dollars in giveaways specifically for first-responders and front-line workers.Mybeerbuzz .com Highlights Half Time Beverage (Review)

With all that in mind, I could not wait to open the box from Half Time Beverage. Rather than reviewing the individual beers, I want to talk about Half Time Beverage’s selection of beers, and even more importantly, the quality of the beers.

You can check out the photos above, but let me just mention the amazing new beers they were able to deliver: Lord Hobo Juice Lord, Burley Oak Mos Dank, Mast landing On A Mountain In The Clouds, Kings County Brewers Collective Dynamite Daredevils, Burlington Beer It’s Complicated Being A Wizard, Torch & Crown Simcoe Intersect + Motueka, Other Half Small Riwaka Everything, Other Half Citra Daydream, Finback Monoculture, Big Alice Brewing Dawn Of A New Day, Equilibrium Brewery Kiwi and Beer’d Brewing You Like ‘A Da Juice.

As you can see, the selection is incredible, and having browsed the Half Time Beverage website, I can tell you that it’s not limited to just hoppy beers, just cans, or even just small breweries. With everything from Allagash to Zero Gravity, they are currently listing 214 different U.S. breweries to choose from and thousands of beers from the U.S. or international breweries…and keep in mind, they all show up at your door.Mybeerbuzz .com Highlights Half Time Beverage (Review)As a lover of all things hoppy as well as a consumer who is religious about freshness, the upcoming paragraph is perhaps the most important part of this review.

I religiously check dates, and I only buy fresh beer. I buy a lot of IPA’s and beers that are dependent on freshness, and as you can see, all 12-beers in my box were hoppy. I’ve also suffered from receiving problematic dates when beer is shipped, but not today. I’m here to say that Half Time Beverage’s selections not only arrived fresh, but more importantly, they were EXTREMELY FRESH! With some of these beers just packaged days ago, and the oldest being packaged at the end of January, these beers are uber-Fresh. I also really appreciate that when you are browsing their website, you can select “New As Of” to narrow your search to items as new as 7-days or as high as 60-days old. Half Time Beverage can clearly bring you really fresh beer, and this is rare in the on-line beer retailer world.

You can browse Half Time Beverage’s store by freshness, by brewery, by hop rating, by style, by state, by color, by alcohol content and even by price, so you always get what you want. You can create a wish list, view new arrivals and even create gift and variety boxes. And before you think you are limited to just beer, nope…you can also buy cider, hard seltzer, Mead, hard Kombucha, hard lemonade, hard teas, hard coffee, gluten free and even non-alcoholic beverages.

Mybeerbuzz .com Highlights Half Time Beverage (Review)Check out Half Time Beverage and I think you’ll agree that you’ve found a new beer-friend and a new go-to for buying beer on-line. The selection is amazing, the choice of breweries and beers are incredible and as I’ve said, the beer is incredibly fresh.

I’ll be working my way through my selections and checking them in on Untappd so follow along on social media and of course, be sure to check out Half Time Beverage for yourself. And when you do try them out, be sure to let us know what YOU think.
