Creature Comforts Announces Limited Bottle Offerings Available this December

Creature Comforts Announces Limited Bottle Offerings Available this DecemberFrom Creature Comforts:

We're releasing two limited offerings from our Wood Cellar and Mixed Fermentation program, Tulsi and Easy Melody, on December 12. Both of these special beers will be available in 500mL bottles from our taproom.

Tulsi is a 6.1% ABV mixed-culture Saison made with local tulsi and hibiscus. We sourced both herbs from the talented team at UGArden here in Athens, GA, and added those to a simple yet sophisticated recipe that also features wheat from DaySpring Farms. The UGArden Herb Program team helped us select two tulsi varietals they grow: Kapoor and Krishna. The addition of hibiscus balances the darker tulsi notes with the bright floral notes that hibiscus offers.

Easy Melody is a 5.8% ABV mixed-culture Saison featuring lavender and lemongrass. This delicate Saison is beautifully refreshing with bright fruit and floral notes balanced by gentle acidity. Showcasing regional and local ingredients, we sourced the lemongrass from Heilbron Herbs (Asheville, NC), the lavender from R&R Secret Farm (Athens, GA), wheat from our friends at DaySpring Farms (Danielsville, GA), and malt from Carolina Malting (Cleveland, NC). We worked with local artist Eileen Schaeffer to create the label artwork for Easy Melody.
