If you’ve been following along, I just brought you some exciting news about the beer I’m highlighting today. Coming to us from St. Paul, MN of course I’m talking about one of my favorites, Summit Brewing and their new Triumphant Session IPA.
First released just a month or two ago as part of the Block Party Variety Pack, this beer will now go year-round as the 3rd IPA in Summit’s year-round portfolio. Triumphant definitely falls into what I call the “healthy beer” category as it rolls in at 95 calories and 3.5g carbs per 12oz serving. And of course to use the word “Session” in the name, the beer clocks in at just 4%-AbV.
Triumphant is loaded with some classic citrus, grapefruit and pineapple flavors and aromas and if you didn’t read the word “session: on the label, I’m not sure you’d know by just tasting the beer. This session IPA hits 40 IBU so it’s really hoppy and really satisfying for the hop-lovers out there. I’ve enjoyed this beer once already, so I can’t wait to try it again…so off we go.
Summit Brewing Triumphant Session IPA
ABV: 4%
IBU: 40

Packaging: 12oz cans

Overall: Triumphant Session IPA really checks a lot of boxes for a really hop-forward but sessionable IPA. The blend of hops as well as the low ABV makes for a really drinkable beer that just happens to be low-calorie and low-carb. Triumphant is satisfying, drinkable and really sessionable.
