We are happy to announce that as a part of Phase One, we are opening our Southtown Tap Room for limited dine-in, patio, outdoor seating, and take-out daily from 3pm - 9pm. Our team has worked tirelessly over the past few weeks developing a plan to accommodate employee and customer safety. This plan was informed by governmental regulations, the advice of public health experts, and our own employee-led safety committee.
As a part of the Corvallis community, we feel it important to participate in Phase One as we work together navigating, fighting, and—with time—healing from this pandemic. If at any point we feel the safety of our employees, customers, or purveyors are in jeopardy, we will adjust or pause our service as we see fit. We can do this, but it will need to be together as one loving community.
The Block 15 Tap Room experience will be quite different from what you have experienced in the past. We ask that you be patient with us and other guests as we work through this new flow. You can find a list of adjustments at: block15.com/tr-phase-one. We strongly encourage you to use our online waitlist system (find at block15.com/taproom) prior to arriving at the Tap Room. The tap room will now have a host, and to be served you must have a table. In the event all tables are occupied, we will kindly ask you to wait in your vehicle or go for a walk in the area.
We will continue to host our weekly Saturday drive-thru beer pick up at the Tap Room location. This has been a lot of fun and a great way for those wanting contactless procurement of our goods. Nick is also having too much fun with the spin-the-wheel prize giveaways! This will continue to be the only way to purchase kegs and corni fills.
Our downtown Pub will remain take-out and delivery only at this time. The space inside is just too compact to confidently open with our current understanding of what is needed to safely operate. We will continue to troubleshoot and learn from our Tap Room, knowing that we will welcome you back at a later date.
Caves Bier & Kitchen will remain closed. Again, the space is too small to properly accommodate the new operational requirements, as we understand them.
Thank you all so much for your support, kind words, and patience. Through this support we have continued to bring back team members, contribute 100% of health care costs for furloughed workers, and view the future with an optimistic vibe. It may be hard to tell, but we sure are smiling behind our masks!
– Nick, Kristen, and The Block 15 Team
