From Tröegs:
With all of the hop trials happening here at the brewery lately, we got a hankering for something different. Scratch #408 is an evolution of a Scratch weizenbock that was last seen in one of our Anthology samplers. On top of a bready base of pilsner malt and red wheat, German Northern Brewer hops add a woody, earthy undercurrent with notes of pine and fresh mint. Our DreamWeaver yeast contributes hints of candied clove and black pepper. We taste: toasted bread, subtle black pepper, hint of woody pine. 6.8% ABV. Draft and growler fills now available at our Hershey brewery.
