Berkeley, CA . -- Wednesday, February 12, 2020 -- An ambassador for craft beer in Berkeley, California, Fieldwork Brewing Company announces today its pledge of $50,000 to Australia wildfire relief. Fieldwork Brewing donates $50,000 to The American Australian Association's "Australia Brushfire Relief For Australian Red Cross" and "Australian Wildlife Fire Fund for WIRES, Wildlife Victoria and ZAA" (LINK). The American Australian Association ensures 100% of contributions are deployed to directly help people and wildlife most affected by the fires.
Fieldwork Brewing commemorates its 5th Anniversary since opening its doors in Berkeley with Special Release cans and draft of Koalaty Time Double IPA on sale today, February 12, 2020. Koalaty Time is brewed to help highlight the urgent need for funds for wildfire relief in Australia. Koalaty Time is a West Coast Double IPA brewed with the Australian hops, Enigma, Galaxy and Vic Secret with aromas of Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, diesel-heavy weed, pineapple, and pine needles.
"Living in a region that's also experienced its own devastation due to wildfires, it's our duty to bring awareness for the need to help our Australian friends who have undergone catastrophic fires in recent months. Our donation is a small part in the efforts to support the communities affected by the Australian wildfires," says Barry Braden, co-founder and owner of Fieldwork Brewing Company.
Koalaty Time Double IPA is available on draft and in 16 oz. Special Release cans at all seven Fieldwork Brewing locations throughout Northern California.
