Boulevard Releasing Smokestack Series Phantom Haze DIPA Cans

To coincide with the release of Tank 7 in brand new 16oz cans we are proud to announce the release of a second Smokestack Series can offering.

For the last year, our brewers have been testing heavily dry-hopped, juicy IPAs on the quest to create something exceptional.  Through bold experimentation, we’ve stepped out of our comfort zone to bring you our newest year-round release, Phantom Haze Double IPA.

Inspired by the luminous glow of stunning sunsets and the enigmatic aura of transient twilight, this supernaturally delicious beer is big, bold and beautifully balanced, bursting with luscious tropical hop flavors.  Pouring an inviting shade of orange, we combine 10 different hops with an oat and wheat malt bill to give this beer a juicy, hop-forward taste with a pillowy mouthfeel.

Malt: Pale Malt, Wheat Malt, Golden Naked Oats

Hops: Citra, Idaho 7, Amarillo, Strata, Calypso, Cascade, El Dorado, Galaxy, Mosaic, Ekuanot

CHARACTERISTICS

Aroma: Clean, sweet tropical citrus, geranium

Malt: Moderately sweet, pillowy, subtle

Hops: Juicy, mild bitterness

Balance: Hops

Body: Medium

ABV: 7.5%

IBU: 30

Pairing Ideas: tacos al pastor, ginger chicken, a bacon cheese burger with onion jam, aged cheddar cheese, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, citrus desserts

Available on draft and in 4-packs of 16oz cans beginning Monday, January 6th and available year-round wherever Boulevard beers are sold.
