Employees of America’s Oldest Brewery Gather to Support U.S. Servicemen and Women Ahead of the Holidays
WHAT: D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc., America’s Oldest Brewery®, is proud to partner with Operation Gratitude, a leading nonprofit organization focused on forging strong bonds between Americans and their military, to show their appreciation to service members this holiday season.
On Monday, November 25 at noon, Yuengling 6th generation family member Debbie Yuengling and brewery employees will gather to help assemble 500 military care packages for Operation Gratitude. The care kits will benefit U.S. servicemen and women, first responders, veterans and their families. Kits will include: toiletries such as dental floss, deodorant, lip balm, mouthwash and hand lotion, Yuengling branded keychains and letters of appreciation from Yuengling employees.
Though Yuengling’s Lagers for Heroes program, the brewery supports nonprofits, such as Operation Gratitude, and advance programs that positively impact veterans and their families.

The non-profit organization’s mission is to lift the spirits and meet the evolving needs of the Military and First Responder communities, and to provide volunteer opportunities for Americans to express their appreciation to all who serve.
