From Stone:
Last Friday, a Federal judge ruled in our favor, slapping MillerCoors with sanctions in our ongoing lawsuit to protect our Stone name and trademark. This is not just a huge step in this particular lawsuit, but another win for independent brewers everywhere. We will not be intimidated, and we will not back down. We know who is in the right here, and we think MillerCoors does as well, which is why we believe they were withholding damaging evidence.
While this is a big win for the good guys, the larger lawsuit still continues. We’re immensely grateful for all the support we’ve received from the independent craft beer community (breweries and fans alike) and we’ll be sure to keep you posted as more updates come in.
