Love City Brewing makes a donation to a non-profit organization in an effort to give back. Love City Brewing has committed to brewing a special beer and donating 10% of total sales to Big Hearts to Little Hearts, and I think that your readers would enjoy reading about a local brewery that is eager to make a positive impact on its community.
Love City’s decision to donate to Big Hearts to Little Hearts is a personal one. Love City bartender Phoebe Kaufman’s daughter overcame a rare heart disorder, and open heart surgery, at just four days old. As a result, Love City has tapped both Phoebe and her now healthy 4-year-old daughter, Beyah, to help create the brewery’s next philanthropic brew.
Beyah’s bravery singlehandedly inspired the new Lion Heart brew, a Tart Cranberry Orange Ale, which was released at Love City for all to enjoy this past Friday, October 11. To support the organization, Love City will donate 10% of total proceeds to Big Hearts to Little Hearts.
