The Jack behind the brand name, Hendler oversees beer production for Jack’s Abby Brewing. Founded in 2011 by Hendler and his brothers, Sam and Eric, the brewery remains independent and family owned. Don’t let his quiet demeanor fool you: Hendler’s gears are always turning as he contemplates his latest innovation, recipe or brand direction to push the brewery forward. Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers focuses exclusively on a stellar lager lineup, while the introduction of the Springdale brand in 2016 has allowed the brewery to experiment with non-lager styles, which includes all ales and barrel-aged brews.
