This morning we get our first peek at a new Abt 12 coming to the U.S. from St. Bernardus in Watou, Belgium. This is Abt 12 Barrel Aged Sour and it will be the original Abt 12 recipe aged for 3-years in old oak barrels previously used to make Abt 12 Oak Aged in 2014. This aging lets te beer go sour before being blended with 60% freshly brewed beer and packaged in 750ml bottles. The beer will hit 10%-AbV and stay tuned for more details.
