Modern Times Santa Barbara Totally Open

Modern Times Santa Barbara Totally OpenFrom Modern Times:

SANTA BARBARA IS OPEN! It is with immense pleasure that we announce the official opening of The Academy of Recreational Sciences, our new Santa Barbara restaurant and tasting room. It’s been a long journey (we actually started looking at spaces in 2015), but we can confidently say that it was absolutely worth the wait and then some.
This new coastal pleasure-dome boasts State Street’s largest outdoor patio, over 30 taps of our outrageously tasty beers (plus cold brew coffee, wine, & occasional guest beers & ciders), boundary-pushing plant-based cuisine, and a visual feast featuring our most mind-bending installation art to date. To make matters even more awesome, the space features a mini-mart that's fully stocked with to-go beer, house-roasted coffee, glassware, and the finest in wearable items; it's also a pick-up spot for online special release sales.
We’re totally thrilled to be sharing a building with Shaker Mill and Cubaneo, two serious local luminaries of the cocktail & culinary scene. We’re very excited to continue meeting the community, and to explore the collaborative possibilities ahead. Mostly, we just can’t wait to party with all our new neighbors. You can learn a bit more about the space, including hours, event request info, menu, current taplist, and more,
RIGHT HERE.
Oh, and if you want to keep up on all the latest SB radness, you'll want to give our new social media handles a follow at @moderntimessb on
Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
