Ground Breaker Releases Stone Fruit IPA in 16 Ounce Cans Ahead of Celiac Awareness Month

From Ground Breaker:

(Portland, OR) – The second seasonal release from the award-winning dedicated gluten-free craft brewery has arrived. Juicy with citrus hoppy aromas, Stone Fruit IPA is made with apricots, cherries, and peaches. Stone Fruit IPA is 6.9% alcohol by volume and 58 IBU.

Stone Fruit IPA is a longtime fan-favorite for the brewery. “We first released Stone Fruit IPA in 2014 when we were still operating under the Harvester name” said James Neumeister, Head of R&D at the brewery.

“IPA preferences have changed somewhat so we’ve tweaked it a little bit, but the robust addition of stone fruits remains as the core of the beer,” explained Head Brewer Tyler Kueber. “We hopped this beer with Meridian and Santiam hops and we’re very happy with how those aromas play with the fruit.”
The arrival of the beer in a 16 ounce can package coincides with the beginning of Celiac Awareness Month, an event held throughout the United States each May that aims to raise awareness about celiac disease. Ground Breaker uses the month to educate consumers about celiac disease and to highlight the organizations and suppliers they work with to produce their award-winning certified gluten-free craft beer.
Ground Breaker’s Stone Fruit IPA is available now in a 16 ounce can and on draft at their Gastropub.

The 16 ounce cans will begin to hit store shelves where Ground Breaker beers are distributed in the coming weeks.
