From Founders:
First up, Green Zebra will be the new summer seasonal!
What the heck’s Green Zebra? Well, happy you asked. Delightfully tart and slightly sweet, this ale is our refreshing take on an easy-drinking fruit beer. Watermelon is the highlight of this lightly-hopped treat and gives it a hint of satisfying juiciness to balance the tang and bite we love in a gose style. The soft mouthfeel and dry finish come courtesy of the addition of sea salt. Pairs well with warm days and never-ending sunshine. 4.6% ABV
While Green Zebra was originally slotted to return as a Limited Series release, its success coupled with the immense popularity of the gose/sour/wild ale styles justified it having greater availability. The most exciting part? It’ll be available in 15-pack cans in addition to draft and 6-pack cans. Yes, 15-pack cans!
Green Zebra will start shipping in April 2019, with availability later that month. It will be available through July.
Onto part two of exciting news:
Introducing Pilsner!
Description: Always brewing to taste and rarely to style, Pilsner is the culmination of our love of American hops and appreciation of easy-drinking styles. Where traditional Pilsners typically feature European Noble hops, our version celebrates some of our favorite American varieties: Chinook, Centennial, Cascade and Crystal. Crisp and bright, with notes of citrus, this Pilsner is refreshingly untraditional. 5.5% ABV.
The recipe is exactly the same as PC Pils. We wanted to give the beer a refresh as far as the name and packaging go – something that spoke better to the beer inside. Pilsner will be available in 15-pack cans (no draft) from June-September in the following states of Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Indiana.
