Today we have an exciting new
collaboration coming from
Firestone Walker Barrelworks in Buellton,
CA. The beer is called
West Odnar and it will be a
collaboration with Brouwerji
Liefmans. The beer begins life as unpasteurized Goudenband Flemish old brown ale; this 2016 beer was aged in American and French oak barrels.
Liefmans then returned to help with the final blend (52% barrel-aged Goudenband, 24% beer aged with Viognier grapes and 24% Wild Luponic.) The resulting beer was bottled on 7/5/2018 in 492 cases of 375ml bottles. Look for West Odnar to hit 9.8%-AbV and stay tuned for full
