From Ommegang:
Friends, it’s the time of year when we announce our plans for our annual beer festival, Belgium Comes to Cooperstown. After much deliberation, we’ve decided to take a year off. You’ve likely noticed that over the past 12 months, we’ve renovated our home with the expansion of our Tap House, and we’ve renovated our branding, with fresh new labels, packaging and tap handles. In this same vein, we feel it’s time to renovate our biggest event. Of course, we know very well that our fans have only the highest expectations of us. To continue to meet those expectations, we’d rather take the time to get it right. We recognize that this may disappoint some of you and we don’t take that lightly, but we believe that it’s the right way to ensure that what we bring back in 2020 is truly exceptional. In the meantime, we have summer concerts and many other events in the works. We look forward to raising a glass with you on those occasions. Importantly, to help us make the most of this opportunity, we’d love to hear your thoughts on Belgium Comes to Cooperstown and what you’d like to experience in the future. Send your thoughts to BCTC@ommegang.com. As always, we thank you for your passion and your patronage. Cheers!
