BOSTON, MA - More beer. More food. And, most importantly, more fun. In two weeks—on February 1 & 2—BeerAdvocate brings its expectation-defying, boundary-pushing Extreme Beer Fest® back to Boston’s Seaport World Trade Center for its biggest and most diverse lineup to date.
Presented by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery and sponsored by the Brewers Association, the 16th annual EBF will feature over 400 beers from more than 120 independently owned breweries, and welcome 12,000 attendees from around the world. Considered one of the country’s best beer festivals, EBF showcases the tremendous creativity within the brewing industry. Where else could a person sample beers such as an American Wild Ale brewed with pineapple and oolong tea alongside an Imperial Stout made with vanilla, coffee, cocoa, and ladyfingers?
Plus, in 2019, BeerAdvocate has invited a number of “drinking buddies,” providing ticket holders with even more options. For the first time in its history, EBF will include mead, cider, and kombucha from the likes of B. Nektar (Mich.), Graft Cider (N.Y.), KrafTea Kombucha (Mass.), Nectar Creek (Ore.), Reverend Nat's Hard Cider (Ore.), and Urban Farm Fermentory (Maine).
To complement the variety of fermented beverages, EBF attendees will also be able to buy food from eight local vendors: American Flatbread, Binge BBQ, Brato Brewhouse & Kitchen, Eastern Standard Provisions, Jaju Pierogies, KO Pies, Roxy’s Grilled Cheese, and Waffle Cabin.
VIP tickets are sold out. A limited number of general admission tickets remain for Session 1 (Fri. night) and Session 3 (Sat. night). Tickets include all beer samples, BeerAdvocate-branded Govino drinkware, and a printed fest guide while supplies last. Food sold separately. As with all BeerAdvocate fests, booths will be staffed by the brewers to ensure the highest level of education and to provide attendees with a chance to meet the people behind the beer.
