Glendale, WI – Sprecher Brewery just released Winter Lager, a highly awarded Munich style Dunkel fans seek out every year. Winter Lager has all the smooth dark roasted malt goodness
that makes it a perfect beer for cold winter nights. “Dunkel” means dark, and the darkness is apparent in the deep mahogany color as well as kilned malt flavors reminiscent of roasted coffee and nuts. Soft and elegant with a hint of spice, this World Beer Cup® gold medalist provides comforting contrast to winter’s occasionally harsh conditions.
“Winter Lager is our version of a classic Bavarian style lager. One of the original beers we brewed back in 1985, it is still among my favorites.
