El Catador Club™ Membership Agreement
IF YOU CANNOT PICK UP YOUR ITEMS IN PERSON, OR HAVE THEM PICKED UP IN PERSON BY A TRUSTEE AT THE CIGAR CITY BREWERY IN TAMPA, FLORIDA OR THE OSKAR BLUES TAPROOM IN BOULDER, COLORADO, PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP! WE DO NOT SHIP BEER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!
(1) What it is:
El Catador Club is a members-only club that guarantees its members seven (7) selected barrel-aged bottle releases.
(2) Membership Fee:
The fee to join the Ninth Edition of El Catador Club is $250.00 per seven (7) bottle allocation plus tax and service fees.
(3) Cigar City Brewing’s Obligations:
Cigar City Brewing shall provide access to El Catador Club members one (1) 750 mL bottle each of seven (7) barrel-aged beers for a total of seven (7) bottles to be released periodically over the course of their El Catador Club membership.
Existing members are able to purchase up to two (2) allocations per membership during the El Catador Club renewal process.
New members will have the ability to purchase up to two (2) allocations per membership during the El Catador Club registration process.
Cigar City Brewing will have the exclusive right to select the releases for El Catador Club.
The selection and availability of beer available to El Catador Club members are not necessarily, but may be, exclusive to El Catador Club members. The determination of exclusivity shall be made by Cigar City Brewing in its sole discretion.
Cigar City Brewing does not announce or release advanced determinations of what selections are to be released.
Cigar City Brewing reserves the right to change or amend the club at any point during the duration of the club.
Cigar City Brewing shall provide an undetermined beer gift to all members, that will be announced at a later date. This gift will be made available to members who elect a Tampa pick-up as soon they are ready; this will be communicated via email. Members who elect a Boulder will pick-up will receive their gift as soon as they are available. Communication will be sent out via the club registered email.
Cigar City Brewing shall provide access to a minimum of one (1) El Catador Club member exclusive event during each club edition at the Cigar City Tasting Room at 3924 West Spruce Street, Tampa, FL 33607 and the Oskar Blues Taproom at 921 Pearl Street, Boulder, CO 80302. Tickets may be limited and be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Events may be location specific and not replicated at the other location.
Cigar City Brewing will apply a 20% discount on purchases made by an El Catador Club member at the Cigar City Tasting Room at 3924 West Spruce Street, Tampa, FL 33607 and the Oskar Blues Taproom at 921 Pearl Street, Boulder, CO 80302. The discount is only available to the El Catador Club member and shall not apply to purchases made by a member’s trustee. The discount does not necessarily apply to all items and is determined solely by Cigar City Brewing and/or Oskar Blues Brewing. Any members found sharing their discount cards may be ineligible to participate in future club iterations.
There is no predetermined expiration date for El Catador Club membership, however, El Catador Club membership shall automatically terminate thirty (30) days after the seventh and final bottle is released to El Catador Club members. No dates for the release of the seventh and final El Catador Club selection have been determined.
Cigar City Brewing shall notify each El Catador Club member by email upon selection of an El Catador Club release. This notice shall be provided by email to the email address designated by the El Catador Club member.
Cigar City Brewing may provide all El Catador Club members the option to purchase other barrel-aged and/or specialty beers, as determined solely by Cigar City Brewing. These special releases are in addition to the seven (7) selections available to El Catador Club members. Any special release under this section must be purchased separately and are not included in the El Catador Club membership.
Cigar City Brewing shall notify El Catador Club members of the membership termination date. This notice shall be provided by email to the email address designated by the El Catador Club member. Bottles may be picked up during normal hours of operation in the Cigar City Brewing Tasting Room (Sun-Thu 11 AM-11 PM, Fri-Sat 11 AM-1AM) or at the Oskar Blues Taproom at 921 Pearl St, Boulder, CO 80302 (Sun-Sat 11 AM-11 PM).
Members who select to pick-up bottles at the Oskar Blues Taproom at 921 Pearl St, Boulder, CO 80302, will receive bottles as they become available at the Oskar Blues Taproom but have until the end of the club term to pick-up all bottles. Pick-up timetables will be communicated to these members via the email address designated by the El Catador Club member.
Cigar City Brewing and Oskar Blues Taproom may temporarily suspend bottle pick-ups at any time at its discretion. We encourage people picking up bottles for four (4) or more members at the Cigar City Tasting Room to contact us at club@cigarcitybrewing.com before arriving at the brewery so we can have your bottles ready for you and you can have more time to enjoy a beer in the Tasting Room.
Cigar City Brewing may revoke the Membership and deny the ability to join any other future editions of the El Catador Club to any member at any time at the sole discretion of Cigar City Brewing.
Cigar City Brewing may revoke the ability of a member’s trustee from picking up any releases for a member at any time at the sole discretion of Cigar City Brewing.
(4) El Catador Club Member Obligations:
Expressly acknowledge that Cigar City Brewing and Oskar Blues Brewing do not ship beer.
Expressly acknowledge that El Catador Club members do not have exclusivity to any packaged barrel-aged beers or to any other packaged or draft Cigar City Brewing and/or Oskar Blues Brewing releases.
Provide accurate and up to date contact information to receive timely notice of any release available to El Catador Club members.
This Membership Agreement is the sole agreement between Cigar City Brewing and El Catador Club members, and all prior discussions, understandings, representations and agreements, either oral or in writing, are superseded and merged into this agreement, which alone fully and completely expresses their agreement.
El Catador Club members shall maintain a current and active email account.
All El Catador Club members must ensure that any email sent by Cigar City Brewing is not disposed of or placed into a spam folder.
Cigar City Brewing shall not, under any circumstances, be responsible for any email not received or responded to.
El Catador Club members must present a valid government-issued picture ID to pick up the El Catador Club selection.
El Catador Club members may designate a trustee who shall have the member’s permission to pick up any and all club-related items for the member.
Any trustee selected by the El Catador Club member must be identified as having permission from the member to pick up the selection on behalf of the member. This must be set up by the member on the El Catador Club website.
Any trustee designated by the El Catador Club member must present a valid government-issued picture ID to pick up the El Catador Club selection.
El Catador Club member must present membership card and ID to receive the 20% discount in the Cigar City Brewing Tasting Room or Oskar Blues Taproom. Discount does not necessarily apply to all items and is determined solely by Cigar City Brewing and/or Oskar Blues Brewing.
El Catador Club members are responsible for choosing and updating the name of their trustee. This can be completed on the El Catador Club website.
El Catador Club members may, at Cigar City Brewing’s sole determination, purchase additional El Catador Club bottle releases.
El Catador Club members may not swap, postpone, trade, stack, or otherwise expect multiple bottles from future El Catador Club releases.
All El Catador Club bottles shall be picked up by either the member or the trustee in the Cigar City Brewing Tasting Room located at 3924 West Spruce Street Tampa, FL 33607 or at the Oskar Blues Taproom at 921 Pearl St, Boulder, CO 80302; Cigar City Brewing and Oskar Blues Brewing do not ship beer. All available items must be picked up when a member or trustee is picking up any item; no cherry picking of available items is permitted.
There are no refunds for either the El Catador Club membership fees or for any purchase made under the terms of this Membership Agreement.
El Catador Club members and their designated trustee, if any, shall be over 21 years of age at the time of entering this Membership Agreement.
El Catador Club members must purchase the El Catador Club selection made by Cigar City Brewing according to this Membership Agreement.
El Catador Club members must be in possession of their membership card at time of purchase to receive their discount. Any replacement cards will be provided at a cost of $15.00 to the member.
El Catador Club does not offer an auto renewal or subscription option at this time. Any member that does not sign up for the next edition of El Catador Club within the stated time frame for that Edition’s renewal will no longer be a member of El Catador Club and will have to renew the El Catador Club membership in line with non-members.
Any El Catador Club bottle not picked up by either the El Catador Club member or the designated trustee within 30 days of release of the seventh and final bottle will result in the forfeiture of the bottle or bottles by the El Catador Club member and the payment for the selection.
