Stone & Pizza Port Collaborate On BFF (Beer Friends Forever)We brought you news of this beer, and now some updated photos from Stone.  Stay tuned for the upcoming PR and a 6/23 release date.

This from Pizza Port:

news! @pizzaportbrewingco teamed up with @stonebrewing on a collaboration brew named BFF (Beer Friends Forever) San Diego Pale Ale. Six packs and draft of the beer will be available at all of our brewpubs this Saturday at 11am! Look for BFF six packs at retailers in Southern California starting June 25th with Northern California, Arizona and Nevada following soon after.
Friday, July 26th, 1996: Vince & Gina (Marsaglia) were so excited to serve beer from their new friends Greg (Koch) & Steve (Wagner) that Vince drove his old truck to Stone in San Marcos and picked up their very first Stone keg sold. 20+ years of continued beer friendship has inspired this collaboration. Thanks to the combination of hops and yeast used, BFF has flavors of passion fruit, oro blanco grapefruit, and earthy tangerine peel. Heirloom Maris Otter barley gives the beer a rich but clean malt background of a fresh baked baguette.
ABV: 6.2%
MALT: MARIS OTTER, FLAKED OATS, FLAKED BARLEY
HOPS: CITRA, RAKAU, UK TARGET, SOUTHERN CROSS, MOSAIC
YEAST: LONDON III
