San Marcos, CA , --Started in 1997, in the memory of the former Wynkoop Brewmaster, the 2018 Russell Scherer award for Brewing Innovation was bestowed upon The Lost Abbey’s Tomme Arthur at the Craft Brewers Conference in Nashville.

Only the 22ndrecipient of the award, Tomme join the likes of Vinnie Cilurzo (Russian River Brewing), Matt Bryndilson (Firestone Walker), and Ken Grossman and Steve Dressler (Sierra Nevada) to name a few of the previous winners from California.
