Sixpoint Releasing Smoothie, Fruit Smoothie, Blackberry Raspy & Wild Raspy 5/19

Sixpoint Releasing Smoothie, Fruit Smoothie, Blackberry Raspy & Wild Raspy 5/19From Sixpoint:

We’re getting a little wild and crazy with this one. For Fruit Fest 2018 we’re releasing four beers, including Sixpoint’s first bottle release since Bolshoi back in 2005. Smoothie is back, totally revamped and better than ever—it’s basically like we juiced hops to extract the tropical fruit character. We’re also releasing Fruit Smoothie, with loads of strawberries for some real fruit flavor and aroma to complement that hop juice.
You remember Lil Raspy? Well Blackberry Raspy is a double fruited version with equal parts raspberry and blackberry. We also took a batch of raspy and aged it with wild yeast in wine barrels for 16 months for our first ever in-app bottle release: Wild Raspy.
As a reminder, these beers are only available through the
Sixpoint App and pickup is at the brewery on 40 Van Dyke St in Brooklyn. The official release party is Saturday, 5/19 from 10am-4pm. If you can’t make it, we have alternate pickup windows (without the party) on 5/21 and 5/22, from 4pm-7pm.

Smoothie
Style: NEIPA
ABV: 7.0%
IBU: 10
Description: This is a full Smoothie reboot. Mosaic, Azacca, and El Dorado lend lush, smooth, fruity aromas from mango, orange, and passionfruit to blueberry. No fruit in here though—pure hop juice. Low bitterness with a soft, rounded body from tons of oats.
Fruit Smoothie
Style: NEIPA w/ Strawberries, Lactose, and Vanilla
ABV: 7.0%
IBU: 10
Description: We gave this beer the full fruit treatment. An overload of strawberry puree jumps out on the nose along with El Dorado, Mosaic, and Azacca hops. Lactose sugar adds a touch of sweetness, and we conditioned the whole thing on Madagascar Vanilla. Strawberry smoothie for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Blackberry Raspy
Style:  Sour Ale w/ Blackberries and Raspberries
ABV: 4.5%
Description:  Double the fruit of the original Lil' Raspy formulation, now with equal parts raspberries and blackberries to bring the fruit factor next level.
Wild Raspy
Style:  Barrel-Aged Wild Ale w/ Raspberries
ABV: 6.8%
Description:  Wild yeasts worked on this version of Lil Raspy for over a year in wine barrels—the result is mild funk and fruitiness, and a nice, dry, crisp finish. It's our first ever bottle release through the app.
