Karl Strauss Releasing Urban Arbor IPA 4/20

We joined forces with our friends at Automatic Brewing Company andSan Diego Urban Timber to brew a beer in honor of Earth Day and Arbor Day!

Urban Arbor IPA was brewed using berries and wood from juniper trees provided by Urban Timber. The resulting West Coast IPA has a light malt profile that showcases piney aromatics and juniper wood notes that shine through a clean, crisp finish.

Wanna hear the coolest part? This beer was brewed in support of Friends of Balboa Park, a non-profit that specializes in maintaining the trees in Balboa Park. Join us in supporting this awesome cause!

Urban Arbor IPA will be released TODAY, Friday 4/20, and will be pouring on draft at both breweries’ Tasting Rooms, all Karl Strauss brewpubs in San Diego, and select craft beer bars around town. Keep an eye out for this tasty brew. Happy Earth Day (4/22) and Arbor Day (4/27)!
