From Victory:
DOWNINGTOWN, PA - Victory Brewing Company welcomes back Summer Love Ale for its
9 th consecutive year, this time with a new, vibrant look. The Golden Ale’s new packaging
showcases all the best summer has to offer: sunshine, blue skies, and beach days. For the first
time, Victory will offer Summer Love Ale in 15-pack cans to give fans 36 more ounces of the Golden Ale.
Victory Co-Founder and Brewmaster, Bill Covaleski shares, “Summer has always been
primetime for making good memories and we know that our Summer Love Ale has contributed
to many great ones. Knowing that all good times come from exciting xperiences, we amped up
the packaging to reflect the cool comfort during hot days that our fans rely on Summer Love
Ale for.” As Victory Brewing Company’s most popular seasonal, Summer Love is a
staple in coolers and backpacks across the country from the time beer drinkers gain an extra
hour of sunlight until they can no longer find the beer on shelves. For many, Summer Love’s
return is the unofficial start to summer.
Summer Love Ale is a refreshing and aromatic, 5.2% Golden Ale with citrusy hop aromas
that give way to lemony hop flavors to help you enjoy those easy days of summer. Victory Co-
Founder and Brewmaster, Ron Barchet nods to the popularity of Summer Love and explains
the attributes that aid to its success, “Summer Love is designed for easy, yet flavorful
drinking. The hop selection played a big part. we chose hops like Citra that produce a pleasant,
citrusy dryness. Brewing a beer light in body with a clean, citrusy finish makes it the perfect
thirst quencher for our fans to enjoy.”
Returning formats include 12 oz. bottles in 6-packs and 12-packs; 12 oz. cans in 6-packs; and 16
