From Ground Breaker:
Portland’s first 100% dedicated gluten-free brewery is set to host what will be the first annual PNW Gluten-Free Homebrew Competition. Registration is now open and will close at 11:59pm on March 23, 2018. Registration can be completed on the Ground Breaker website where you can find further details. The competition results will be announced Saturday, April 21st around 12:00 PM at the Ground Breaker Gastropub.
“We’ve wanted to host a homebrew competition for a long time now. There is definitely an appetite for it. At least here in Portland, there’s now a homebrew club dedicated to gluten-free beer,” said James Neumeister, founder of Ground Breaker. “This will be a great opportunity for individuals that brew gluten-free beer to get feedback on their best recipes, and of course we’ll be giving out some great prizes for the winners.”
The entry that takes home the grand prize will be invited to collaborate with Ground Breaker’s head brewer Tyler Kueber on a release of the winning beer. The second place entry will receive a $150 gift certificate from Bob’s Red Mill. The third place entry will receive a free recipe kit of their choice from Gluten Free Home Brewing.
