From Catawba:
Catawba is now pouring a Small Batch Irish Red Ale (5.6 percent ABV) at all locations. Lightly kilned Crystal and Munich malts are responsible for the beer’s deep amber color and defining character – with flavor notes of caramel, toffee, and bread crust. This is the first of two consecutive Irish-style beers the brewery will release leading up to St. Patrick’s Day.
Irish Red Ale is Passport Beer #10 in Catawba’s 2018 Small Batch rewards program. Brewed in their Asheville South Slope brewhouse, the beer is available exclusively in Catawba’s four tasting rooms.
