From Bissell Brothers:
A word on “The Milo project”- The last 4 years have been a whirlwind of trial, error, learning, rerouting, and, ultimately, shock and amazement that at least SOME of what has come out of all that mishmash has stuck, and Bissell Brothers is now a thing here in Maine. So where do you go from this? How do you continue to innovate, and give new things to the world, in a scene that grows more homogeneous by the day? For us, it was to go where beer wasn't. To come home, in many senses of the phrase, and re-contemplate the beer-making experience and purpose behind it, with a totally different landscape to help shape this new perspective. Noah has been hard at work these last few weeks laying down the foundations for what will ultimately become the first packaged offerings to come out of this facility, which has been dubbed Bissell Brothers Three Rivers, or #BB3R for short. SO, as a beer lover, (either current or aspiring) who lives in the vicinity, what can YOU expect? We don't have all the answers yet, but here are some general things to look forward to:
-Sales/Tasting Room opening in early July
-Funky, tart, and sour barrel-and-foudre-aged 750ml bottles
-Hoppy styles produced only at this facility, in 750ml and growler fills
-A tasting room experience concurrent with Bissell HQ in terms of staff knowledge and friendliness, efficiency, and of course, "wow" factor! -A commitment to improving the Three Rivers community through the company's operations
-Some stuff must stay a surprise #bissellbrothers
