It’s not every day you get a call to say one of the biggest bands in the world wants to brew a beer with you. That first call, the first spark that ignited Foo Town lager, a beer brewed with rock ’n’ roll legends Foo Fighters, to celebrate their ninth studio album and ‘Concrete and Gold’ tour down under.
The hazy, easy-drinking lager will be available in super-limited edition cans from pop-up boozers running in Sydney and Melbourne alongside the tour. In Sydney, get a first taste of the Foo Town brew with the take-over of Surry Hills’ Hollywood Hotel, transforming it into the Foo Fighters Hotel from 24th–27th January. Next, Melbourne rock institution Cherry Bar becomes Fooie Bar for four days: from 27th – 30th January.
