From Fat Head’s:
Brewery to transition flagship Head Hunter IPA from 4-pack to 6-pack
Middleburg Heights, OH —Responding to popular demand, the brewery announced that its award-winning and flagship beer, Head Hunter IPA, is moving from a 4-pack bottle offering to a 6-pack. The change will roll-out at grocery, convenience and beverage stores across the company’s 3-state footprint of Ohio, Pennsylvania and Indiana starting February 5. This comes just a few months ahead of its new 60k-bbl, 75k square-foot brewery and beer hall, which is well under construction, opening mid-year.
Head Hunter is an aggressively hopped 7.5% ABV/87 IBU West Coast-style IPA that established itself as an icon of the style when it won back-to-back medals in 2010 and 2011 at the Great American Beer Festival. It followed that feat by winning consecutive medals at the biennial World Beer Cup competition in 2012 and 2014.
“Head Hunter fans have been screaming for 6-packs for years,” said Matt Cole, Co-Founder and Master Brewer. “With the move to our larger production facility, we can finally make it happen. As a special thank you to our loyal and passionate fans, we’re going to launch the new 6-packs a few months early, so starting in early February, craft IPA lovers will get more a couple more beers for your buck.”
