Boulder, CO — January 19th, 2018 Avery Brewing Company, a pioneering craft brewery known for its all-encompassing obsession with beer, announces today its 2018 brewing calendar. In addition to its flagship, White Rascal Belgian-style White Ale, and the Botanicals & Barrels series of year-round barrel-aged beers, Avery is adding several new beers to its line-up. This year will mark Avery Brewing Company’s twenty-fifth anniversary in Boulder, Colorado.
“2018 is going to be a great year and we cannot thank our fans enough for the 25 years of support they have given us,” says Adam Avery, founder and CEO of Avery Brewing Company. “Our journey toward world-class beer and beer experiences continues and I’m stoked to drink these new beers!”
The first new addition will be Go Play IPA, a thirst-quenching IPA with electrolytes added. This addition to the core line-up will be available late this spring in 12-ounce, 6-pack cans. Shortly following will be Bug Zapper, a refreshing Sour Ale with mint, ginger, and lime added to beat the summer heat. This will be a limited release available this summer in 12-ounce, 6-pack cans.
Uncle Jacob’s Stout, Tweak, and Rumpkin will be joined by a new addition to the Annual Barrel Series. Neckbeard’s Revenge is an Imperial Coconut Porter aged in rum barrels and will be available as a limited release this summer in 12-ounce bottles. Avery’s experimental one-and-done Barrel Aged Series will see its 50th iteration this year, with a release to coincide with the Avery 25th Anniversary Party in late summer. Existing beers in the Avery lineup will also see package updates this year: The Maharaja, Hog Heaven and The Reverend will move from 4-pack to 6-pack cans.
In order to make room for these exciting new changes, Avery is saying good-bye to some brands. Joe’s Pils and Raja IPA are expected to phase out by early summer and Perzik Saison will not be released for the summer season. While bittersweet, Avery Brewing is excited to keep experimenting and producing new brews. These beers will continue to make appearances at the Boulder-based brewery’s Tap Room from time to time for those who need their fix.

Great liquid, but the prices for any Avery from core to limited is ridiculous. That's probably why you see Avery sitting at you fave distributor. Hopefully the fact that Mahou San Miguel, now owns
ReplyDelete30%, the pricing will come down. BTW the same foreign company owns 30% of Founders.
