The latest untamed product of this curiosity are two small batch releases that push the boundaries whilst leaving their own unique mark. A Gunpowder Gin and a barrel-aged Single Malt Vodka.

First up, our LoneWolf team have lit the fuse on a 57% ABV juniper cannon, firing a blast of Oriental spice. LoneWolf Gunpowder Gin sees the intensity of its spirited stablemate taken to new heights by the addition of Szechuan and black peppercorns, bitter orange and star anise. Subvert the Status Quo with the brand new Gin from LoneWolf as it declares primeval warfare on the bland, the characterless and the insipid. Light the touchpaper and stand back.
As a Gin & Tonic, LoneWolf Gunpowder Gin is best served with a slice of orange peel, and some freshly-ground black peppercorn. To truly unleash the flavour cavalry however, this creation calls for a Martini as its ally. Add a dash of bold, dry white vermouth. Wet shake over ice and watch the essential oils from the dialled up citrus and juniper form a smokescreen. Strain and serve with a twist of orange peel and a grind of black pepper.

The other recent offspring from LoneWolf is also set to challenge the norm – but in an entirely different manner. Our team has created a single-minded vodka with Single Malt character. Held captive in charred virgin American oak for eleven months, this 100% malt barley Vodka delivers a smoothness that belies the bite to follow. It exists in a place few Vodkas dare venture – taking on the personality of whiskey for the best of both worlds.
The Vodka enters the cask unfiltered, and the char of the barrel clarifies it naturally. Over the months it becomes smooth; the oak delivering a bourbon-like warmth of vanilla and coconut. Our pure bloodline Whiskey Single Malt Vodka is a collision of distilling cultures. Best served neat over ice for maximum bite or for a longer drink, add a dash of ginger beer and serve with a squeeze of lime over ice. This is Vodka with a singular vision – to be a whiskey.
