Duvel Belgian Golden Ale Coming To Cans

Duvel Belgian Golden Ale Coming To Cans
This is an interesting newly approved beer for the U.S. on a lot of levels.  This is Single Fermented Belgian Golden Ale from Duvel and it is brewed with Noble hops, and then dry-hopped with Citra hops.  This beer will hit 6.8%-AbV and it will now be packaged in 500ml Ball cans…and while the label says “Brewed in Belgium” this label is actually approved for Cooperstown, NY (aka Brewery Ommegang).  Can’t wait to see these on U.S. shelves, but if you’re already asking yourself, hey…I didn’t think Ommegang had a canning line?  Neither did I as witnessed by the previous Ommegang cans being packaged at Boulevard.  Stay tuned as I suspect we’ll see more cans coming from Duvel and Ommegang.  I've also added in Duvel Barrel Aged (9-months in American oak, 750ml bottles).
