Pottsville, PA, October 10, 2017 – D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc., America’s Oldest Brewery, is pleased to announce a sponsorship agreement with the Philadelphia Flyers at the Wells Fargo Center, which hosts over 200 events each year. This multi-year agreement with one of Pennsylvania’s National Hockey League teams will feature Yuengling beer.
“The energy and passion generated by the Philadelphia Flyers is a home-state advantage for our company,” said Dick Yuengling, Owner and President. “The Flyers bring fans a fun and exciting experience where they enjoy a variety of beers from America’s Oldest Brewery.”
“We are thrilled to enter into this hometown partnership with Yuengling,” said Flyers Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Shawn Tilger. “The Yuengling brand is beloved in the Greater Philadelphia Region, and we are excited to bring it direct to Flyers fans.”
Fans attending the Wells Fargo center and watching Flyers games on TV will see the Yuengling branded signage. Sponsorship with the Philadelphia Flyers includes outdoor digital billboards, signage in the Broad and 11th Street Atriums, multiple signs in the main and mezzanine concourse and dasherboard signage featuring the brewery’s flagship beer, Yuengling Traditional Lager.
Flyers fans will continue to be able to enjoy Yuengling package and draught brands in the Wells Fargo Center.
The sponsorship, with the support of business partner Origlio Beverage, started October 1, 2017.
