This morning we get our very first peek at another new IPA coming from Stone Brewing in Escondido, CA. This is Scorpion Bowl IPA and it is a “punch to the stinger.” This beer uses Magnum, Mosaic, Loral & Mandarina Bavaria hops and the beer hits 7.5%-AbV. This is the 22oz bottle (kegs below) and stay tuned for release details. Style: India Pale Ale
Hops: Magnum, Mosaic, Loral & Mandarina Bavaria
Notes: Very floral and, "fruity without using fruit". Lots of citrus & tropical fruit. Fruit really builds the more you taste and really, really lingers.
Look for a late Feb 2018 year-round release (Earlier than originally indicated). From Stone’s website:
