We just highlighted this beer, and now the exciting details from Indeed Brewing:
A new season means new adventures, and this year a new recipe for Stir Crazy Porter! We’ve created a sturdy cold-weather sipper to warm you from within during the chilliest time of year. Stir Crazy is brewed with layers of malty goodness, giving it a dark brown hue and satisfying notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and caramel. Head Brewer Josh Bischoff crafted Stir Crazy to resemble a traditional porter, using a nuanced blend of specialty ingredients, and heavier addition of Simpson’s Coffee Malt, a variety of brown malt.
To kick up the flavors of our Porter one more notch, we’ve brewed this year’s batch with an experimental variety of hops, HBC 472. These hops give off notes of coconut and bourbon oak, giving Stir Crazy more depth of flavor than an average porter.
Stir Crazy Porter is available now on draft and in 12 oz. cans! Bundle up and enjoy.
