Returning beer news from Drake’s Brewing:
SAN LEANDRO, CA | (October 4, 2017) — After its 2016 debut, War Pigeon is back again by popular demand as a limited release double IPA, available now through the
end of November. War Pigeon is dry and bright and brewed with a variety of ultra-fresh hops from Styrian Cardinal, Mosaic, Chinook, and Pekko.
At 8% ABV, it’s an aromatic blast of sweet pineapple and citrus zest, with hints of floral aromatics. With mild sweetness and an earthy finish, it’s a perfectly balanced beer that pairs well with Mahi Mahi tacos with mango salsa or a piece of dulce de leche cake for dessert. It is available seasonally from September through November in 22-ounce bombers and on draft at Drake’s Barrel House in San Leandro, Drake’s Dealership in Oakland, as well as distributed to the best craft bottle shops and rotating tap houses across the West Coast. Drake’s Barrel House is located at 1933 Davis Street, in San Leandro. Drake’s Dealership is located at 2325 Broadway Auto Row in Oakland.
