From New Braunfels Brewing:
We're a bit fanatical about announcing the release of Saison de Lenoir.
For our 2017 vintage of Saison de Lenoir we sourced two hundred pounds of 100% Comal County Black Spanish wine grapes from Dry Comal Creek Vineyards and Winery to barrel-ferment with our white wheat saison, Blondine. The beer was pressed off the fruit thrice in shortening fermentation times for each press to extract the deep earthy character of the Lenoir grape.
This beer is tannic, dry, rich and has a crisp carbonation.
Release of Saison de Lenoir on draft and in bottles begins in our downtown tap room starting last night and will be available through the weekend. Only 480 500ml bottles were produced this year, once they are gone they are gone till 2018!
