Jackie O’s Releasing Champion Ground & Black Mask 9/15

Jackie O’s Releasing Champion Ground & Black Mask 9/15From Jackie O’S:

Join us on Friday morning, September 15th, for one of the most anticipated bottle releases of the year!
Champion Ground

Around the brewery, we listen to a lot of reggae, drink a fair share of coffee, and are devoted to our barrel aging program. There was a one off imperial stout that had been resting in bourbon barrels for 11 months; these barrels had a strong dark chocolate presence but needed a boost. Green Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee beans made their way to Athens, OH. –Stauf’s Coffee Roasters nailed the perfect roast to compliment the barrel aged stout. Champion Ground was born! A culmination of exploration and many guilty pleasures.

Black Mask
The creative individuals at Jackie O's pour all their efforts into creating a beer with personality and character. Our barrel program in an imaginarium that nurtures decadent culminations of balance and extravagance. Black Mask is inspired by one of our favorite pugs, Barley! Barley has no shortage of character and isn't small, in many ways. He is the zenith of exuberant zeal and joy. After resting in bourbon barrels, this robust stout is infused with coffee beans, cacao nibs, and vanilla beans. A rich beer that is brimming with personality and exhilaration.
