UPDATE 23 Aug 2017 from Red Brick:

Red Brick Brewing Co, Georgia’s oldest craft brewery, is turning 24. To celebrate, consumers will have the unique opportunity to enjoy the following four variants of their popular Vanilla Gorilla Imperial Porter: cinnamon & almond, hazelnut & cacao nibs, coconut & coffee, and bourbon barrel fermented. These variants will be available, along with the 2017 release, at the brewery on September 30.

“Our objective was to create variants that would complement the taste of the base beer and explore a range of flavor pairings,” said director of brewing operations Gavin McKenna. “We are ecstatic about how these beers turned out, and expect them to be a huge hit.”

Vanilla Gorilla is a rich imperial porter with notes of chocolate, coffee, and utilizing hand cut Madagascar vanilla beans. For the first time, it will be available in 4-pack 16oz cans, in addition to draft offerings. Variant bombers will only be available at the brewery in very limited quantities.

Red Brick Brewing Co. opened in 1993 in downtown Atlanta and has been making beer for the southeast ever since. Alcohol laws are changing for breweries in Georgia this September, making it easier than ever before to get new and exciting beers to fans. Red Brick is excited to kick off its 24th year with the ability to finally sell beer to consumers directly from the taproom.

“Since 1993 we have been dedicated to bringing high quality craft beer to the market,” said Red Brick President Garett Lockhart. “The recent law changes will allow us to innovate better than we ever have, and offer more and more unique selections to our customers. It’s an exciting time to be a craft beer consumer in Georgia, and we are thrilled to be a part of it.”

Red Brick Brewing Co. will celebrate its 24th Anniversary and Vanilla Gorilla release on Saturday, September 30 at the brewery. Guests can try all four variants of Vanilla Gorilla plus additional brewery-only releases and cellared beers, tour the Red Brick brewery, enjoy eats from food trucks and purchase up to a case of beer to go.

Vanilla Gorilla is a limited release offering in the Brick Mason series, and will be available in stores in 4-pack 16 oz cans beginning October 2nd . Limited edition Vanilla Gorilla variant bombers will only be available at the brewery, and supply is extremely limited.
