From Anheuser-Busch & Budweiser:
NEW YORK, NY June 7, 2017 On the heels of reintroducing Budweiser's line of iconic patriotic packaging, the brand is announcing its return to the big-screen with an all-American toast to the season just in time for its 141st summer. The Budweiser commercial features user generated content toasting with America cans and bottles across the country alongside ACM Male Vocalist of the Year Thomas Rhett.
"Budweiser has some of the most iconic commercials of all time, so it's pretty awesome to actually be in one," says Thomas Rhett. "It's cool that we get to toast America together with all the fans this summer and fall on our Home Team Tour."
Budweiser's partnership with Thomas Rhett first began in 2016 when the brand teamed up with the all-American Multi-Platinum singer/songwriter for a behind-the-scenes look into his 2016 tour. This year, the brand will follow the country music singer on his nationwide HOME TEAM TOUR. Thomas Rhett is also making appearances at several country music festivals this summer with the Budweiser Country Club, which offers a unique fan experience to enjoy the best of Budweiser and country music along with outdoor games and an updated modern country look and feel that only Budweiser can deliver.
"Thomas Rhett is truly a member of the Budweiser family and we are honored to be joining him back on tour and at the Budweiser Country Club this summer to raise an iced-cold Budweiser," said Ricardo Marques, vice president, Budweiser. "The return of our America red cans and this new commercial is just one of the many ever-present reminders that every drop of Budweiser consumed in America is brewed in America – and we're proud of that fact."
Budweiser has historically celebrated the summer with patriotic packaging. Every year since 2011, when the brand first unveiled its first patriotic packaging, Budweiser has raised a cold one to summer while offering a great reminder that Budweiser is proudly brewed across America. This season, fans can enjoy a red Budweiser America can or bottle through Labor Day.
