Leinenkugel’s Adding Pomegranate Shandy & Lemon Berry Shandy Cans / Oktoberfest

imageThis morning we get to see a new shandy coming from Leinenkugel’s.  This is Pomegranate Shandy and it is a weiss beer brewed with honey and natural pomegranate flavor.  This version hits 4.2%-AbV and it will be packaged in 12oz cans.   We also have Lemon Berry Shandy (4.2%-AbV, 12oz cans) and Oktoberfest German-style Märzen beer (5.1%-AbV, 12oz cans & bottles).

    I had the privilege of trying the Pomegranate Shandy, I think it will be a nice Fall/Winter Shandy. It has a nice hint of Pomegranate and has a clean finish. Also nice to see the Lemon Berry Shandy making an appearance for the 150th Anniversary
