DURANGO, CO (Mar. 28, 2017) – Ska Brewing’s award winning Mexican Logger returns for summer 2017. A favorite of Ska fans and critics alike, Mexican Logger has clinched medals at the Great American Beer Festival in the International Style Pilsner Category for the past two years.

Formulated with fresh grains and Saaz hops, Mexican Logger clocks in at 5.2% ABV, 20 IBU’s and 3 SRM. This highly sessionable brew is light, refreshing and really hits the spot after a long day of brutal chainsaw work. It features a light to medium body and a clean, crisp finish. The balance of sweet malt and mild bite pairs well with summer heat. Mexican Logger works hard to guarantee your enjoyment.

Mexican Logger was originally brewed in 1999. The brew has been one of Ska’s top sellers every year and, to keep up with the demand, Ska increased production of the beer by twenty percent for 2017.

“Fans are entranced by Mexican Logger year after year. Fresh and crisp, it is the ultimate combination of easy drinking and craft beer for the summer heat,” said Dave Thibodeau, CEO of Ska. “Warm weather days and Mexican Logger are the best of friends.”

Six-packs of Mexican Logger will hit shelves April 5. AND, as if this day couldn’t get any freakin’ better, did we mention that Ska’s Mixed-up 12-pack will contain Mexican Logger this season?

In addition to Mexican Logger, the new Mixed-up 12 will now also include Modus Mandarina IPA alongside Ska classics, True Blonde and Pinstripe. Mexican Logger and Mandarina’s popularity at BBQs and reputation for being delicious under the sun helped them muscle their way into this seasonal assorted offering, replacing Modus Hoperandi and ESB. The Not Summer version of this Mixed-up 12 will include Euphoria.

Mexican Logger and the new Mixed-Up 12 will be available through September in all of Ska’s regions of distribution, which are largely Colorado, Southern California, Chicago, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.----

Ska will celebrate with a Mexican Logger release party on April 5, 2017 at its World HQ in Durango, Colorado. Live music by the Crags and beer specials starting at 5:00pm.
