Hill Farmstead Birth of Tragedy: Kochere Coming 3/29

In our bottle shop, beginning Wednesday, March 29, we will release Birth of Tragedy: Kochere, an imperial porter brewed with honey and aged on Kochere coffee from Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia, in apple brandy barrels. 

We have chosen two barrels of Birth of Tragedy as the base for this single origin coffee experiment.  After aging for 20 months in apple brandy barrels, we conditioned the beer atop Ethiopian Kochere coffee beans sourced and roasted by The Coffee Collective in Copenhagen, Denmark.  These friends long ago changed our worldview as to what coffee could be.  After months of bottle conditioning, the beer is ready for release. 

375ml, $20, limit 1 per person (credit card and matching ID required, please see our bottle release policy). 

Retail hours next week are Wednesday - Saturday, from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m
