Goose Island Brewing 1060 Wit For Wrigley Field Opening Day

From the ChicagoTribune:

1060 Wit, which debuts at the home opener April 10, was designed to be sipped while watching baseball during the height of summer, Goose Island’s head of brewing research and development, Mike Siegel, said in a statement.

“The beer is inspired by traditional Belgian Wits, using a lot unmalted wheat along with orange peel and coriander,” Siegel said. “It’s lightly fruity and a touch spicy with low bitterness that is a natural fit for the ballpark and refreshing on hot Chicago days.”

1060 Wit will be on draft at kiosks around the ballpark, a spokeswoman said, and also be available at Goose Island’s taprooms on Fulton Street and (when reopened) Clybourn Avenue.
