From Urban Chestnut:
Some beers are better with friends, which is why Urban Chestnut Brewing Co. collaborated on four new beers for our latest variety pack, the Collaboration Collection!
Urbangang (Belgian Lager) brewed with Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown, NY
Florian & Phil are old brewing friends so it was only a matter of time before these Master Brewers came together to create two completely new beers. Ommegang brewed our German-style Doppelbock & fermented it with their Belgian house yeast, while we brewed Ommegang’s Belgian-style Dubbel & fermented it with our Zwickel yeast. Our expression… Urbangang… is a balanced combination of malt & spice aromas with a clean Lager finish.

Xaver (Wheat Ale) brewed with Karmeliten Brauerei in Straubing, Germany
Thomas Eichenseher, Braumeister at Germany’s Karmeliten Brauerei, collaborated with UCBC to brew this Old Bavarian-style Wheat beer. Xaver, featuring a prominent banana aroma combined with a nutty, caramel malt flavor, is the first of many future collaborations with European breweries, helping us pay Reverence to our old-world roots.

2011 B.C. (India Brown Ale) brewed with Civil Life Brewing Company, Perennial Artisan Ales, and 4 Hands Brewing Co. in St. Louis, MO
Back in 2011 a new St. Louis Brewers Class... aka 2011 B.C., was “born”. Five years later, the class got together to recognize their 5th “birthday” and while doing so created this India-style Brown Ale. Just like Civil Life & Perennial & Four Hands & Urban Chestnut… this beer has a little bit of something for everyone.
