From New Glarus:
Spotted Cow Grand Cru is now available in our Beer Depot and shipping to retailers. Spotted Cow Fans may not have believed it was possible to improve upon Wisconsin’s favorite brew, and Spotted Cow Grand Cru is NOT a replacement for our Spotted Cow. However, New Glarus Brewing Co. Diploma Master Brewer Daniel Carey gave some thought and decided to change it up a bit. Faithful to Spotted Cow but an entirely new Imperial recipe with fine Wisconsin and Czech malts that step out with hand chosen Willamette and Yakima Valley hops joined up with French and German varieties. The addition of fresh coriander and sweet orange peel kick up Dan’s special Farmhouse Ale. New Glarus Brewing Company Founder/President Deb Carey noted that Spotted Cow Grand Cru is bottle fermented and hazy as an early meadow morning. You can expect Spotted Cow Grand Cru to be an assertively quaffable Imperial edition of Wisconsin’s favorite local brew. This is one of our Thumbprint brews and when it's gone, we don't promise that it will return.
